When the choral performances ended and Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama stood up, countless members hurried toward them. Everyone was waving and cheering loudly, their emotions a mixture of overwhelming joy as well as sadness at the approaching farewell. Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama spontaneously shook hands with each member of The Messiah Choir and the children’s chorus group, Banda Messias. When one of the girls from Banda Messias came before Masaaki-sama and tried to embrace him, Masaaki-sama gently lifted her up, and remarkably, he continued shaking hands with each remaining member while still carrying the girl in his arms. For the choir members, there could be no greater honor than singing in Masaaki-sama’s presence. Moreover, being able to interact directly with Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama—giving high-fives and handshakes—brought radiant smiles to their faces. Although Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama had once exited the venue, they reappeared and watched traditional Angolan tribal dances that members were still continuing on stage. When the dancing members invited him to join, Masaaki-sama graciously accepted and danced together with the members in African style. Mami-okusama also joined in the dancing, filling the Sacred Ground with thunderous cheers. Until the very end, it was one moving moment after another.
