Hello again! This is your reporter who is always looking forward to Mami-okusama’s cute vegan bento series! Everyone, please take a look at this adorable bunny! 🐰✨ The bunny, with its cute rosy cheeks, is holding a carrot with both its hands, looking as if it just hopped out of the forest. Every detail, including the hearts placed around the bunny, is so creative and captivating. Mami-okusama said that she made this bunny bento box in response to her children’s request. How amazing it is that she can respond to all kinds of requests! Mami-okusama said that when she was thinking about how to design the bento box, it suddenly came to her: “I can make the vegan datemaki look like a carrot, the bunny’s favorite food!” So, she decided to have the bunny hold the carrot. “Mami-okusama’s astonishing vegan datemaki” is a recipe she previously shared with us. For her to use her own original recipe in this way! Once again, I am astounded by her creativity. What’s more, the layered cross-section of the sliced datemaki looks just like the fibrous texture of the carrot. Isn’t it perfect? Her children said, “It was so cute and so delicious!” Even their teacher who happened to see the bento box exclaimed “So cute!” and took a photo with their own smartphone. If it’s this cute in the photo, the real bento box must be adorable beyond imagination. Oh, I can’t stop thinking about being able to see it in person someday, and to have even just one bite! I would like to share the menu of the food in the bento box that Mami-okusama graciously provided: 【Bento Menu】*30 percent polished rice cooked in a clay potThe face and ears of the bunny were designed using nori seaweed and pickled plum.*Vegan datemakiString beans were used for the leafy part of the carrot.*Chinese cabbage and wakame seaweed with ponzu sauce (garnished with yuzu peel)*Simmered daikon radish leaves*Kombu seaweed simmered in soy sauceSprinkled with freshly roasted washed sesame seeds.*Heart decorationsMade using boiled daikon radish and carrots.
