This will be the first time that Masaaki-sama conducts the Consecration Prayer, and furthermore, it will be the first time in the Church’s history that it will be conducted before the eyes of us members. The Consecration Prayer is the most sacred mystery of mysteries among the sacred ceremonies conducted since Meishu-sama’s time, and for us members, the moment when the Ohikari is consecrated by successive Kyoshu-samas has literally been shrouded in a veil of mystery. It is a ceremony of the utmost solemnity. Over the course of about three hours, Masaaki-sama reviewed every detail including positioning, the processional path, the manner of conferring the Ohikari, the arrangement of the altar and ceremonial space, and the emcee’s script. For the emcee’s script, he discussed with the emcee every single word and even the timing and length of pauses. Still further, he gave attention to every single movement of not only himself but also of all the people involved, including the officiating ministers. From the overwhelming power of light radiating from Masaaki-sama, who is one with God, everyone was enveloped in vibrations brimming with life, as if they were in heaven itself. On this occasion, the Consecration Prayer will be conducted for the first time in Brazil. The historical moment when the material Ohikari is consecrated by Masaaki-sama and becomes the true Ohikari is close at hand.
