The butterflies flutter gracefully over the tulip flower bed🦋 Mami-okusama’s bento, which gives us an early glimpse of the gentle scenes of spring, features a very special touch this time: the letters “MEI,” spelling out the name of her eldest daughter ❤ I can just imagine the delight on Mei-sama’s face when she opens the bento box and the very first thing that catches her eyes is her name! I am also captivated by the tiny tulip leaves delicately crafted from wakame seaweed! As always, I cannot help but admire Mami-okusama’s meticulous cooking, filled with such love and care. What Mei-sama loved in particular were the tiny flower-shaped pieces of nori adorning the bunny’s ears. Such a wonderfully small detail! Mei-sama’s sensitivity in choosing this as her favorite part, and Mami-okusama’s delicate aesthetic sense in creating this charming design—through this tiny flower, there was a heartfelt connection between the two, and it left me feeling deeply moved. “It’s so cute, so delicious, and I love it!” Mei-sama said. When preparing bentos for her children, Mami-okusama explains, “I always adjust the salt content of the side dishes to suit their ages.” Rather than seasoning the dishes the same way as for adults, she uses just the right amount so that they are gentle on their little bodies. That is why they find themselves wanting to eat more and more of the naturally flavorful rice, feeling from the bottom of their hearts, “How delicious!” Mami-okusama always thinks of her family and thoroughly follows the Christian vegan diet promoted by Masaaki-sama. We can only bow our heads in respect for her deep love and dedication. Let us also learn from her example and joyfully practice the vegan diet ourselves. 【Bento Menu】*30 percent polished rice cooked in a clay pot (200g)🍚The bunny’s pink parts were made using a paste of homemade pickled plums matured for three years mixed with pickled plum vinegar. The face and ears were designed with nori, and a heart-shaped boiled carrot was placed in the bunny’s hands.
