When the dishes prepared by Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama while interacting with members Carlos and his wife, Indi, were completed, the meal was held with a total of 19 people, including President Fernando’s family, church members and staff. Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama personally served food to the participants and engaged in friendly conversation with the members, creating a warm and homely atmosphere throughout the entire time. The participants had the utmost precious experience of sharing a meal table with Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama and partaking of the dishes prepared by the both of them. I, the reporter, couldn’t help but feel as if I had witnessed the scene of a true family meal. If I may humbly use this as a metaphor, for us, Masaaki-sama is truly our father, and Mami-okusama is truly our mother. And the members of World Church of Messiah around the globe are one Messiah Family under Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama. On this day, I strongly felt this. All the dishes were colorful and beautiful, with gentle seasoning that fully brought out the natural flavors of the ingredients, and needless to say, everything was absolutely exquisite. Gratitude welled up from the bottom of my heart once again for how Masaaki-sama constantly guides us to awaken us to true food. After the meal, Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama surprised President Fernando and his wife by presenting them with a textile wall scroll featuring Mt. Fuji. The couple was delighted and immediately hung it on their living room wall. Furthermore, gifts were presented to President Fernando’s three children—fans, stationery, and character-printed handkerchiefs that Masaaki-sama and his wife had selected together with their children, Mei-sama and Miyu-sama. And what a wonderful coincidence—the socks that President Fernando’s daughter was wearing that day had the very same character, bringing her great joy. President Fernando and his wife also presented Portuguese toys to Mei-sama, Miyu-sama, and Mikoto-sama respectively. Additionally, Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama presented Imari porcelain plates with floral patterns to Carlos and Indi, the couple with whom they had cooked together that day. Indi spoke with excitement, saying, “They are so beautiful that I almost feel it would be a waste to use them and would rather display them, but I would like to create new recipes worthy of this vessel.” After the exchange ended, Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama began cleaning up the dining table, washing dishes, cleaning the stove, and even wiping the kitchen floor while kneeling down. Everyone present was moved by the sight of Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama’s thoughtfulness toward the members. Witnessing Masaaki-sama wiping the floor while kneeling, I couldn’t help but recall the precious Sacred Word that Masaaki-sama delivered to us at last month’s Birth of the Messiah Service—that it is because of our cleaning without leaving any trace behind, even going to the very bottom-most place, that makes us the world’s best religion. I was filled with indescribable feelings of awe and emotion. How humbling and what a blessing it is to be allowed to be a member of the Messiah Family under Masaaki-sama. No where in this world is there another religion like World Church of Messiah where one can repent and awaken to the truth. All members throughout the world! Let us be members of the noble Messiah Family under Masaaki-sama and walk together with him on this path to the very ends! And let us expand our circle more and more, and make the world recognize that World Church of Messiah is the true Christianity!
