On this day, not only were President Santos and Vice President Matsumura of World Church of Messiah Brazil present, but Masaaki-sama himself expressed his desire to show gratitude to those who are always covering the Church’s activities, and we in the reporting team were granted the humbling yet incredibly precious opportunity to join them. Masaaki-sama, please allow us to express here our heartfelt gratitude! Masaaki-sama personally served the plates and drinks to us reporters directly, explained each and every dish in detail, and we were all very moved throughout by such an overwhelming honor. This was truly heaven itself. Bathed in the divine light emanating from Masaaki-sama, I was filled with the realization that he himself is the very embodiment of heaven. The experience of that irreplaceable evening will be etched in my heart for a lifetime. But then, the following morning, while still in a dreamlike state, something even more surprising occurred. Thinking of those who cover the Church’s activities, Masaaki-sama bestowed upon us three hymns that he had personally composed! I was simply moved, moved, moved, by what was completely beyond my imagination. Feelings that could not possibly be expressed in words rushed through my heart like a torrent, and tears welled up in my eyes. To say these feelings cannot be put into words may disqualify me as a reporter, but I ask your forgiveness. With Masaaki-sama’s permission, I immediately shared the hymns bestowed upon us with all the members of the reporting team, and everyone was moved to tears. Each of us conveyed our gratitude and feelings to Masaaki-sama in our hearts. With Masaaki-sama’s gracious permission, we humbly present the three hymns here: Your eyes shine pure and bright, O reporting team,As you sacrifice everything to captureEach moment of the missionary visit. Deeply humbled by this honor far beyond our worth, and acutely aware of our inadequacy, we in the reporting team are resolved to continue conveying Masaaki-sama as he truly is to people around the world—Masaaki-sama, who is the second coming of Meishu-sama—so that we may repay even a small measure of this sacred grace.
