Masaaki-sama made a missionary visit to São Paulo last year and the year before, and this is his first missionary visit to Rio de Janeiro. This is Mami-okusama’s first time accompanying Masaaki-sama on a missionary visit to Brazil. The light blue dress that Mami-okusama wore that day was inspired by the Sacred Ground of Water, which would finally be born. A beautiful light blue that evokes the image of crystal clear water. She was shining beautifully like that pure water when she smiled back to the members who came to welcome them. Approximately 40 people gathered at the airport, including President Paulo Santos, Vice President Humberto Matsumura, executive directors, senior advisors, and members of World Church of Messiah Brazil. The moment they saw Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama, their irrepressible joy erupted as cheers, and the members began to sing. The song they sang was “Trem das onze (The 11 o’clock Train),” a samba tune so famous that everyone in Brazil knows it—the same song that Masaaki-sama sang with Mei-sama and Miyu-sama, which was posted on Instagram in March of this year. This time, the members of Brazil sang this song as a welcome, expressing their heartfelt gratitude to Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama and their joy at their visit to Brazil. After the flower presentation, when Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama exchanged handshakes and hugs with each person, there were some members who were wiping away tears of joy. The consecration ceremony for the Sacred Ground of Water is scheduled to be held on November 2. Following the Sacred Ground of Soil in Angola in July of last year and the Sacred Ground of Fire in Japan in June of this year, the moment of the birth of the Sacred Ground of Water in Brazil is finally near.
