The Church’s first-ever Christmas Service that closed 2025. The expressions of attendees streaming into the venue were all radiant, and the hall was already overflowing with anticipation and alive with joy for the service. Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama warmly greeted the president, the regional directors and their spouses. The depth of their trust was evident in their smiling exchanges. The woman in traditional Japanese attire warmly holding hands with Mami-okusama is Kahori Takeda, proprietress of Kimono Hanabusa. Meanwhile, the faces of the newly hired staff members greeting Kyoshu-sama, Mayumi-okusama, Masaaki-sama, and Mami-okusama clearly showed both the joy of being in their presence and hearts full of emotion. The service began with voices singing, “As you bore the cross on your shoulder, you walked toward a ray of light.” The crystal-clear, angel-like voices of the women’s vocal group performing the song “Ashita (Tomorrow),” an original song with lyrics written by Masaaki-sama, enveloped the venue, and God’s great love that united us to His life through the atonement of Jesus Christ pulled at our hearts. Kyoshu-sama’s voice solemnly resounded to the farthest reaches of the venue as he read aloud the opening prayer regarding God’s profound plan in which the holy birth dates of Jesus and Meishu-sama are remarkably close. At the request of President Narii, Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama stood and waved to the participants with bright expressions. The two were breathtakingly dignified in their bearing.
