This place is to become the Sacred Ground of Water. Then it must have been part of God’s plan all along that right before Masaaki-sama’s arrival, rain began to fall gently, as if to welcome him, and I, the reporter, sensed what felt like a sacred sign. As Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama held umbrellas, they surveyed the entire grounds. During their survey, light rain continued to fall, and observing this weather, Masaaki-sama said to President Santos, “The Sacred Ground of Water is strongly asserting that it is indeed the Sacred Ground of ‘Water.’” The beautiful land, as if symbolizing Brazil’s rich natural beauty, has streams and ponds, various trees, shrubs and flowers, as well as many fruit-bearing trees—Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama carefully examined each one as if admiring their own garden. At the top of a hill in the far end of the property is the location that Masaaki-sama had spoken about (in the 2025 Easter Service and Grand Spring Service)—the place where President Santos expressed his impression of it, saying he was “so moved that all the hairs on his body stood on end.” On this day, Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama also looked upon the sweeping 360-degree panoramic view from atop the hill. They appeared to be deeply moved by its extraordinary beauty, and for some time, they walked along the hilltop, enjoying the scenery that changed with each viewing angle. Next, Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama moved to an area where many fruit trees were growing. They observed bananas, mangoes, passion fruit, star fruit, and suchlike—at least 18 types of fruit trees currently confirmed to be growing there. On the spot, they picked and ate tangerines that were hanging in abundance, and graciously shared some with us reporters as well. When I gratefully partook, a pleasant sweetness spread throughout my mouth, and I was moved by the exquisite balance of sweet and tart. In addition, there was an astonishing miracle. On the sacred grounds site, jabuticaba (a grape-like fruit) and pitanga (a sweet-and-sour fruit)—which Masaaki-sama had mentioned in his video message, no. 27, “Are you ready?” as something he looked forward to during this missionary visit—had been planted there originally, even before the land was purchased. Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama ate the fruit together on the spot and appeared very delighted. This account, showing that this land was unmistakably ordained by God, reaffirmed for me that Masaaki-sama is one with God and Meishu-sama. At last, the moment is approaching when, through Masaaki-sama’s consecration, this land will become a Sacred Ground reflecting heaven on earth.
