The Christmas Charity Concert for Izusan Relief Efforts was held by The Messiah Choir of World Church of Messiah on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Kiunkaku in Atami City, and those who were affected by the disaster were invited free of charge. The additional disaster relief donation of 1 million yen (approximately US$7,500), which includes the proceeds from this charity concert, will be fully donated to Atami City on the 27th of this month.So far, World Church of Messiah has donated a total of 50 million yen (approximately US$378,000) to Atami City in support of the recovery from the mudslide disaster that occurred in the Izusan area of Atami City in July 2021. This concert was held to provide support for the further recovery and restoration of the city through music.The Messiah Choir will continue to carry out various activities, aiming to contribute to the public interest by uplifting the minds of people through musical activities, with the hopes that songs and music will bring peace and healing to the hearts of people.
